What's New

What changed in each version of Selampandai.

v3.2.13-betaLatestNovember 4, 2026

Fixed

  • Accepting a staked challenge now creates the duel room before any stake is locked. If the room cannot be created, the challenge stays open and nothing is locked.
  • Both stakes are locked in the same step that starts the match, so a challenge cannot be accepted twice.
v3.2.12-betaNovember 2, 2026

Fixed

  • New categories and events appear as soon as you refresh the page, instead of up to an hour later
v3.2.11-betaNovember 2, 2026

Fixed

  • Event pages open reliably again — shared event links and QR codes were failing on repeat visits, and their link previews could fail too
v3.2.10-betaOctober 30, 2026

Improved

  • The home page, profile and event pages load faster — your clan card, registrations and event details are now kept ready for a few minutes instead of being rebuilt on every visit
  • Notification badges refresh right away when something actually changes, while slower-moving counts update in the background
v3.2.9-betaOctober 30, 2026

Improved

  • Player profiles load faster — duel stats now appear only when you scroll down to them
  • Duel stats and the Top Duelists board are kept ready for thirty minutes, so opening them does less repeat work while staying up to date after every match
v3.2.8-betaOctober 30, 2026

Fixed

  • The player home tab now shows your player name, not your organiser name; the organiser name still appears as a small chip below it
v3.2.7-betaOctober 29, 2026

Improved

  • Your profile and children list are kept ready for five minutes, so pages you open often do less repeat work
  • Searches and filters with unknown categories or locations reuse one saved answer instead of repeating database work
v3.2.6-betaOctober 29, 2026

Improved

  • Event link previews reuse saved event details for 30 minutes, so messaging apps and search engines do less database work
v3.2.5-betaOctober 29, 2026

Improved

  • Signed-in pages no longer re-check your account on every click, so repeat browsing stays light on the database
  • Event link previews and the sitemap are kept ready, so search engines and messaging apps no longer rebuild them on every visit

Fixed

  • Very long searches and oversized list requests are capped, so they cannot cause unusually heavy database work
v3.2.4-betaOctober 29, 2026

Improved

  • The check-in desk and registrations update when you come back to the tab or tap Refresh, and the check-in list updates when you open it or tap Refresh — no background refreshing, so the database rests between uses
  • The desk shows when it was last updated, and tells you when a refresh fails instead of quietly showing old numbers

Fixed

  • Two coordinators checking in the same player no longer undo each other — the first check-in time is kept and the desk tells you the player is already checked in
  • Unchecking a player never removes a check-in another coordinator made after your screen was last updated
v3.2.3-betaOctober 29, 2026

Improved

  • Event lists, podium highlights, rankings and homepage stats are kept ready for 30 minutes and refresh right away when something changes — a new sign-up, posted results, or a profile edit
  • Notification badges no longer refresh on a timer — they update when you come back to the app or take an action
v3.2.2-betaOctober 28, 2026

Improved — lighter on the database

  • The app no longer wakes the database just to check if it is awake, and notification badges now refresh every 5 minutes instead of every minute — pages should feel just as fresh, with far less work behind the scenes
  • Duel hub status checks are a little more patient while a challenge waits to be accepted or a match is live
v3.2.1-betaOctober 28, 2026

Fixed

  • The date & time picker now opens properly on iPhone — event creation and editing no longer leave iOS users (Safari or Chrome) unable to pick a date
v3.2.0-betaOctober 28, 2026

New — one account across both apps

  • Signed in on Selampandai means signed in on SelampandaiX — duel links now drop you into X already logged in, with your name and avatar carried over. No second Google sign-in, and your session works on every X page, not just inside the duel room
v3.1.1-betaOctober 27, 2026

Improved

  • The homepage now greets organisers by their public organiser name — the name shown on your events — instead of your account name. Your account name still appears beside it as a small tag
v3.1.0-betaOctober 20, 2026

New — Duel (alpha)

  • Battle mode gets its first game: Duel. Challenge a player face-to-face — create a duel, your opponent scans a QR to accept, then the match plays out on SelampandaiX with live round scoring and a winner declared
  • Your opponent's scan is the agreement — stakes lock for both players only after they accept, and the winner takes the pot
  • Add games to your Duel page — each game has its own points wallet and weekly stipend, so your Beyblade balance stays separate from your TCG balance

Alpha notice

  • Duel is experimental — the mode is marked alpha on the Duel page, and any duels, stakes, and wallet balances may be reset before the beta release
v3.0.5-betaOctober 19, 2026

Improved

  • The Organiser Ratings leaderboard is easier to read at a glance — each organiser now shows a big approval percentage and a gold bar of recommended vs. neutral vs. not-recommended verdicts
  • Rating labels (like "Overwhelmingly Positive") are now accurate — they count every review ever left, not just a recent sample — and they display in your chosen language
v3.0.4-betaOctober 19, 2026

New

  • Selampandai now speaks your language — pick English, Bahasa Melayu, 华文, or Iban from the globe button beside the theme toggle, on phone and desktop
  • Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese cover the whole app — every page, menu, button, and guide
  • Iban joins as an early preview — main menus and everyday labels are translated, with more coming as native speakers review them (untranslated spots fall back to Malay, then English)

Improved

  • Your language choice is remembered like dark mode — the site opens in your language every visit, on every page, with no flicker of the wrong language
v3.0.3-betaOctober 16, 2026

New

  • Rankings now have an "All of {year}" view — every point earned this calendar year, resetting each January 1. The season picker still opens on the current season
  • Notification badges now guide you to work waiting on you — clan invites and requests light up the Player tab, reviews you still owe and events missing results light up the Organiser tab, and away from home the Home button shows a count so you always find your way back
  • Organiser ratings page got a full makeover — top organisers earn gold/silver/bronze rank cards, every event shows an approval meter and per-review verdicts, and you can now filter by category and season (including an all-year view)
  • Battle Mode is on desktop too — signed-in players get a Battle button on their profile that opens the same stylised menu (Duel, Clan War) as mobile

Improved

  • The organiser guide is now mostly pictures — a mock of the real event card controls, both desktop and mobile check-in layouts, the mobile command bar, and how venue QR check-in works
  • Desktop organisers get a Create Event button right on their profile header
  • Ratings now count only players who actually checked in, not everyone who registered

Fixed

  • Sessions that were never held (for example when "session 2" was really meant to be a slot) no longer leave an event stuck on "results pending" — organisers can mark a session as not held from Post Podium
  • Admins now confirm before banning an organiser, so nobody gets locked out by a stray click
v3.0.2-betaOctober 16, 2026

New

  • Community events now award ranking points too — at half the verified rate (50 per check-in instead of 100, and so on)
  • Events by a flagged organizer now show a red FLAGGED tag so players can judge for themselves — admins can flag, ban, or verify organizers from the new Admin → Organizers view

Improved

  • Under-the-hood cleanup — same features, sturdier plumbing. You may notice friendlier error messages when something goes wrong
v3.0.0-betaOctober 15, 2026

New

  • Check in at the door by scanning the venue QR — guests can join as walk-ins with just a name, no account needed
  • Create your own events from the Organiser tab — verified organizers' events award full ranking points; community events award points at half rate and get the same check-in tools and results
  • Rate events you checked in to — recommended / can be better / not recommended, plus an optional comment
  • Preview upcoming Battle modes — tap the sword button on the mobile bar to see Duel (1 vs 1) and Clan War (1–5 vs 1–5)

Improved

  • Organizers: paste a whole list of walk-in names in one go — each name becomes a row with big tap-friendly slot controls
  • Switch between Player and Organiser modes right from the navigation, and Create is always one tap away in Organiser mode
  • Every popup now shares the same modern glass style and scrolls properly on small screens
  • The calendar lives inside Events now — one place to browse

Fixed

  • Deleting an event no longer fails when it has registrations or reviews
  • Walk-in entry no longer asks for phone numbers — names only
  • The bottom navigation and event buttons no longer overflow on narrow phones
v2.7.2October 7, 2026

Improved

  • Selampandai now runs on faster Pro hosting — pages and event days should feel snappier (temporary upgrade, may revert if it is no longer needed)
  • Google sign-in no longer uses popups at all — the page goes to Google and comes back signed in, so nothing can get blocked on iPhone or any browser

Fixed

  • Fixed iPhone sign-in: after picking a Google account you now return actually signed in, instead of landing back on the sign-in page signed out
  • Share images now point to the live website address
  • Clans and Podium pages are now included for search engines to find
v2.7.1October 2, 2026

New

  • The clan leaderboard now has BO8, BO16, and BOA boards — only a clan's best 8 or 16 members count, so big community clans and small squads compete on the same scale
  • Clan leaderboards can be shared or downloaded as an image, just like the individual rankings

Improved

  • Clan rankings show the top 10 clans per category
  • Clans are now capped at 50 members — plenty for families, friends, and sports clubs, while keeping the tag meaningful
v2.7.0October 1, 2026

New

  • Clans — create a clan, invite players, review join requests, and show your clan tag next to player names
  • Clan leaders can assign co-leaders and hand leadership to another member with their approval
  • A clan leaderboard joins the Rankings page, with season and location filters
  • Parents and guardians can register clan teams for managed players without joining the roster themselves

Improved

  • Team registration is a clearer step-by-step flow: choose the clan, pick players, then register
  • Organizers can see which account submitted each player or team registration
  • Clan pages are easier to browse, search, and manage, including member contributions and clan details
  • Clan cards expand in place to show details and the roster, with faster loading and a compact phone-friendly layout
  • Home, Events, Podium, Calendar, and Rankings use a more consistent compact filter card
  • Long registration dialogs now scroll properly, show a close button, and close by tapping outside

Fixed

  • Clan points stay with the clan a player represented when they registered, even if they change clans later
  • Managed player registrations use the player’s phone when available, with the parent’s number as fallback
  • Copying filtered registrations no longer produces an empty list on events that mix team and individual sessions
  • Role changes now take effect without waiting for an old sign-in session to expire
  • Registration lists and check-in codes are restricted to authorised organizers
v2.6.0September 29, 2026

New

  • Podium edits now save automatically as a private draft — no save button needed
  • Resubmitting an unchanged podium now recalculates its check-in and podium points

Improved

  • The podium page loads faster — session data and players are fetched together
  • The confirm dialog says whether a submission is new, a correction, or a points re-confirm
  • View results moved into the More menu so the action row stays tidy on phones

Removed

  • Recalculate points button — resubmitting the podium handles repairs automatically
v2.5.2September 29, 2026

Fixed

  • The event More menu no longer overflows off-screen on phones
v2.5.1September 29, 2026

Fixed

  • Completed and cancelled events no longer disappear from the organizer dashboard — they show under Past Events
v2.5.0September 29, 2026

New

  • Organizers can now save podium drafts per session, review them, and confirm before results go live
  • Submitted podiums can be reopened and corrected — only that session is replaced and a Corrected marker is shown
  • Organizers can share or download a podium PNG for each session straight from the results page
  • Organizer dashboard now has Ongoing & Current and Past Events tabs — events move to Past once every session has confirmed results

Improved

  • Points are settled automatically from the latest confirmed podiums — corrections rebuild points instead of stacking them
  • Players appear once per session in the podium picker regardless of registration slots
  • Fresh new look for the podium results, profile, admin, and organizer application pages
  • The no-slots-left message now reads more clearly, highlighting that you registered all slots
v2.4.2September 28, 2026

Improved

  • Event flyers now give the date, venue, registration QR, and fallback link more breathing room
  • The title accent follows the event title and host without crowding the details cards
v2.4.1September 28, 2026

Improved

  • Event flyers now use the same portrait layout as Rankings and Podium with clearer event details
  • Event share previews show the event title without a registration prefix
v2.4.0September 28, 2026

Improved

  • New event links include the tournament category and event name; existing links and QR codes keep working
  • Search previews make event registration details clearer
v2.3.1September 28, 2026

Improved

  • Organizer event actions are easier to scan and use on phones
  • Rankings stay neatly arranged on smaller screens
v2.3.0September 28, 2026

New

  • Register additional available slots in one step and see exactly which slots were assigned

Improved

  • Session choices make individual and team entry limits easier to understand
  • The organizer dashboard puts event status and common tasks first, with profile and coordinator settings tucked away
  • Rankings and podium results give the top three a stronger spotlight, while fourth and fifth place remain visible as contenders
  • Calendar schedule and month views make event dates and registration status easier to scan
  • Upcoming tournaments are easier to spot, and event cards open directly to event details
  • The family page brings managed player profiles and activity together more clearly

Fixed

  • When registering a managed player, their names stay with their profile and guardian contact stays with the account holder
v2.2.0September 24, 2026

New

  • Podium page — browse all past tournament winners, filterable by game, season, and location
  • Share anything as an image — leaderboards, podium results, and podium highlights can now be shared or downloaded as PNG cards
  • Your season at a glance — when signed in, the homepage greets you and shows your points, tournaments joined, and podiums for the current season
  • Host your own event — a quick button on the homepage, events list, and every event page (organisers see Create Event instead)

Improved

  • Filters redesigned — compact pill-style menus on Rankings, Podium, Events, Calendar, and the homepage; category and season on one row, country, state, and division on the next
  • Homepage numbers now follow your filters, and podium highlights only show results from the last 7 days
  • Event pages get a proper share panel with a QR code and flyer download instead of just copying a link
  • Tournament web links now use readable names instead of codes (old links still redirect automatically)

Fixed

  • Podium results could be saved under the wrong session — existing results were corrected
  • Closed a security hole where event descriptions could contain unsafe content
  • Removed the unused Quick Match feature to keep the app simple and fast
v2.1.0September 2026

Improved

  • Calendar rework — registered events are highlighted, cancelled events appear dimmed, past months can be browsed
  • Events can now be found at short, readable web links
